Reading data stays in your browser
This site uses localStorage to save your reading settings, bookmarks, and last reading position under the key bible.reader.v1. This information is not sent to an account or synchronized to a server. It may be lost if you clear your browser data or use private browsing.
No accounts or analytics
This version has no sign-in, advertising, or analytics scripts. The site does not send your bookmarks or reading history to an analytics service.
Search and technical requests
Search runs in your browser using a downloaded index. Your search words are not submitted to a third-party search service. A shared search address can contain your query; that address may appear in browser history and in the hosting provider’s technical request logs when opened directly.
Hosting infrastructure may process information needed to deliver the site, such as IP addresses, requested paths, and browser information. The hosting provider’s retention and processing arrangements must be confirmed when the public site is deployed.
You are in control
Visit Reading Settings and choose Clear reading data to remove this site’s settings, bookmarks, and reading position. Reset to defaults changes only your reading preferences and keeps your bookmarks.
